A recent study presented preliminary results following stereotactic body radiotherapy treatment for organ-confined prostate cancer. According to study conclusion the low toxicity and maintained quality of life are highly encouraging. Additional follow-up is needed to determine long-term biochemical control and maintenance of low toxicity and quality of life.
