Drugs used to control diabetes may lower the risk of prostate cancer
November 29th, 2008 Posted in prostate cancer risksRecent studies at Tampere University, Finland, have reported a decreased prostate cancer risk for diabetic men, although the evidence is controversial. It is currently unclear whether use of antidiabetic medication affects the association between diabetes and prostate cancer.
A note about the study conclusion are published in the American Journal of Epidemiology.
